AMA – Accademia Mendrisio Alumni

The exhibition “Postcards from the Immediate Future” travelled for the first time and landed in Versailles within a site – specific installation designed by Ex Figura.
“Dancing Columns” a performative event inspired by the history of Versailles took place during the vibrant program of events organized by éé festival and nous.computer in the Palace of Versailles.

The Potager du Roi has always been the final and most important part of all foreign embassies visits to Versailles.
Following on that tradition, the éé festival welcomed its Swiss friends and their worldwide delegation from all over the world. On this occasion, more than 5.000 postcards wrote by members of the Academy were sent to Versailles.

The encounter was part of the vibrant program of events that were held during the éé festeggia in Versailles. First shown in Mendrisio in 2021 in a scenography imagined by cortese/mazza, the exhibition “Postcards from the immediate Future” was organized by AMA Accademia Mendrisio Alumni, USI University, USI Accademia and USI Alumni.
